Camp goals are to instruct, challenge, and develop enthusiastic youth soccer players in a competitive and fun environment. The camp will focus on individual skills as well as team concepts in better understanding the game.
CAMP DIRECTOR & STAFF
Camp Director Rick Cooper just completed his 13th year as head coach for the Lakota West Men’s soccer program. He won GMC Coach of the Year and Southwest Ohio Coach of the Year in 2011 and Southwest Ohio Coach of the Year again in 2012. Coach Cooper has led teams to 10 district finals and 5 regional finals in his 14 years of head coaching. Coach Cooper will be assisted by Lakota West Men’s varsity and junior varsity players. Camp will also be supported by several coaches with National licensures and high school coaching experience.
DATES, TIMES, COST & DISCOUNTS
Incoming 2nd, 3rd,4th or 5th grade (Fall of ‘17): June 5-8 (Mon-Thurs) from 8:00-10:00AM Cost: $75
Incoming 6th, 7th, 8th or 9 th (Fall of ‘17): June 5-8 (Mon-Thurs) from 9:30AM-noon Cost: $85
*Cost includes T-shirt and mini soccer ball
Early Bird Discount: A reduction of $10 per athlete can be taken if postmarked by May 19th
Family Plan: If siblings attend, a reduction of $5 per athlete can be taken.
Bring a Friend: If you are a returning camper and refer a new camper, you will have a chance to win a soccer ball signed by West coaches/counselors. No limit to the number of new campers you can refer. Limit of one soccer ball won. Camp administrator will award contest entry when new camper sends in application and fee.
CHECK IN TIME / WHAT TO BRING
Check in 15 minutes before your session at the Lakota West football field. Bring soccer cleats, shin guards, a soccer ball and water.
Each applicant must have his own insurance. Lakota and/or any camp staff member will assume no responsibilities for injuries incurred while at this camp. In signing the application, parents or guardians are assuming any and all medical insurance risks. **All campers and parents must complete the liability waiver. It can be done online or in writing (end of this registration)
Enrollment is limited. Applications will be accepted by mail until camp is full. Early registration ensures a quality staff as well as proper T-shirt sizes.
