The Firebirds led Centerville in first downs, 17 to 11, total yards gained from scrimmage, 250 yards to 183, and time of possession, 29 minutes to 19, but all for naught as the Elks special teams scored two touchdowns on punt returns and a third on a kickoff return to provide the margin of victory (21-42).  West scored on TD runs by David Afari (1 yard), MyJaden Horton (15 yards), and Jaylen Swanson (2 yards).  Afari was the games leading rusher with 106 yards on 18 carries.  Nicklas Hjort was three for three converting extra points.  Landon Rosier  had a team high 6 tackles (5 solo, one for loss).
