Approximately 50 teams participating in the 2017 GCTCA Coaches Classic on Sept.14th. Wouldn’t it be rewarding if we could all UNITE as a tennis community against Childhood Hunger?  While it is a weekend filled with great competition, let’s also take advantage of the fact we can come together and make a positive impact on the city of Cincinnati.

WHAT: Unite all of the teams participating in the event with a FOOD DRIVE as we strive to help Ace Childhood Hunger in Cincinnati. We challenge you and your team to bring AT LEAST one bag of non-perishable food to your Coaches Classic location on Thursday, September 14th. Or you can bring your donation to the Coaches Meeting and I can take it from there. Donations will be made to St. Vincent de Paul of Cincinnati.

WHY: There is a great need for food assistance in the Greater Cincinnati area as it ranked 6th in the country in child poverty as of 2015 with 70 percent of children living in families who do not earn enough to be self-sufficient. * If every team brings in just one bag we can donate approximately 50 bags of food to those in need!

***Please drop of your canned goods to the front office and the West Tennis Team will deliver them to the event. We really appreciate your giving spirit! #WestPride

Most Needed Food Items:
Peanut Butter
Canned Protein (tuna, chicken, ect.)
Cereal
Meals In A Can (ravioli, beef stew, ect.)
Tomato
